Lighthouse at Sunset - 30 x 40 inch Oil Painting

$2,000.00

This was my first oil painting — and it felt fitting that it became a lighthouse. I’ve always seen lighthouses as symbols of guidance and perseverance, of standing strong even as everything shifts around them. Painting it at sunset, I wanted to capture that balance of fading light and steady strength — quiet but unwavering. The rich texture of oil paint allowed me to layer warm hues of amber, rose, and ultramarine into the sky while keeping the sea calm and reflective below. This piece taught me patience, and how illumination often feels strongest just as the day ends.
