This collection explores moments where light first enters the landscape—quiet, unforced, and full of possibility.
These are not dramatic transformations, but gentle beginnings: a horizon softening at dusk, a still body of water holding the last light of day, a structure standing quietly within it. In these spaces, light feels less like an event and more like a presence—something that arrives gradually, and is allowed to be.
Through restrained color and softened edges, I’m drawn to the feeling of breath within the landscape—the pause, the openness, the sense that something is shifting, even if only slightly. These paintings hold that quiet sense of hope, where light returns not all at once, but gently, and without urgency.
